Lorrie Moore GRIEF AND GHOSTS

Celebrated for her originality and distinctive voice, Lorrie Moore describes her novel, I Am Homeless If This is Not My Home, as “a political and a personal ghost story.” Told with her trademark wry humor, this tragicomic story of a road trip through a troubled America explores questions of life and death, past and present, grief and devotion. “Moore shows that grief and ghosts can be written about persuasively, and wittily, without turning the novel into a horror story” (The Guardian). Professor of English at Vanderbilt University, Moore is in conversation with Summer Anderson, Board member and reviewer for Books-A-Million.
