National Poetry Month

"April is the cruelest month" according to T.S. Eliot's The Waste Land, it's also - by contrast - National Poetry Month (!) and we're celebrating by signing up for a poem a day and reviewing some of our favorite poetry. One writer that springs to mind is the unofficial poet laureate of Twitter, Patricia Lockwood - who has written two books of poetry. Lockwood attended CLF 2021 to speak about her Booker-Award-nominated novel No One Is Talking About This. It has just been announced that Lockwood is on the Dylan Thomas Prize shortlist, awarded for the best published literary work in the English language, written by an author 39 or under. You can see Lockwood in conversation with Bill Goldstein and her fellow Booker nominees at CLF 2021, including Nathan Harris who is also on the Dylan Thomas Prize shortlist, HERE.
